How many hydraulic outlets do the Ashland or Toreq Scraper and AGL Lasers require? Three. The scrsaper needs two and the laser hydraulic mast needs one.

Is the AGL or Topcon Laser system hard to understand and use? We don't think so. You need to determine the proper grade to dial into the laser, which is obtained by a simple survey of the ditch.

Do I have to walk the entire ditch to survey it at 100' stations? No. The hydraulic masts have a 60 or 72 inch sroke with foot andd tenths grade markings. This allows you to survey the ditch from the comfort of your tractor.

If I rent an AGL Laser, are there any attachments I need to buy? Yes, if you are not renting our scraper with a laser you will need to buy a hydraulic mast mount and support receivers that are welded to your scraper. Call for price.

Is there a way to find out if I have the laser set-up properly before I move yards of dirt? Yes. After you have set the ditch depth, you simply drive the length of the ditch to its opposite end. if every thing is set up properly, the scraper will show an ON GRADE GREEN LIGHT with the blade set on the ground.

If I first rent a laser unit, will the rent apply to the purchase? Yes, but only if we know ahead of time that you are interested an a rent / purchase agreement. This way you will know exactly what the cost of the purchase is before the rent even starts.
