Change of OmniSTAR DGPS correction signal frequencies for Eastern, Western & Central USA
Description –
Eastern USA is changing from 1530.359 MHz to 1557.845 Mhz Data Rate = 1200bps on the 20th of June 2008
Western USA is changing from 1536.782 MHz to 1557.855 Mhz Data Rate = 1200bps on the 20th of June 2008
Central USA is changing from 1534.741 MHz to 1557.835 Mhz Data Rate = 1200bps on the 20th of August 2008
Resolution –
For X-15 & X-20 consoles this custom configuration is accessed via the GPS Setup program. Select, differential souce -> select set to OmniSTAR -> select manually enter frequency -> type in the new frequency for your region via the numeric keypad and select OK.
For PCS100 consoles this custom configuration is accessed from the GPS setup screen -> select correction system -> select OmniSTAR -> select region -> select custom and enter the new frequency for your region via the numeric keypad and select OK (tick icon)
The next release of X-15 and X-20 GPS setup software and PCS100 application will incorporate these frequency changes for each region.
